Health Scare

WARNING:

This is a 'FOR SISTERS ONLY' post. All brothers in the house please DO NOT READ! Thank you. If you go ahead and read and get all irked out in the process, do not blame me. Don't say I did not warn you. You may now proceed at your own risk.

So I went to see a doctor after several months of worry. I have been having irregular visits from the Lady in red. You see, the Lady in red usually comes every month (except when there's a bun in the oven) bringing me some red red wine. We all dread her visits because once she is around, I get headaches, cramps, breakouts, stomach ache, back ache and yucky red red wine. Mr Somebody just can't stand her visits. His manly duties are put on hold until she leaves.' Is she gone yet'? He seems to be asking all the time. 'No', I reply. I'm sure she'll be gone by tomorrow. But tomorrow sometimes, never comes. In recent times, Lady in red had been coming with the aches and pains associated with her visits but with spots and drops of red red wine .For a moment I thought it had to be some side effects from Mirena. Then I remembered this comment on my RE-FOCUSING ON MY GOAL post from our dear friend Dr Anonymous.

"WOTTA HELL?! I MEAN I HAVE SEEN PPLE FATTER DAN U BUT WITH FLATTER TUMMIES! U LOOK VERY VERY PREGNANT AND U AINT EVEN DAT FAT. PLEASE GO CHEK URSELF AT THE HOSP. O....HOPEFULLY SOMETHING (GOD FORBID) ISN'T GROWING IN UR STOMACK...AND I'M NOT TALKN ABOUT A BABY!....SERIOUSLY O ".

I just wanted the doctor to find out if I had fibroids so he could get it out and give me my tummy back. But after he examined my stomach, he came out plainly to say it was FAT. 100% fat embedded in my bosom. 'You have to lose at least 20 kilogrammes in other to regularise your system. The fat in your stomach region is interferring with your hormonal balance. You must do something really fast about this in other to get everything back to normal.'

I have dropped a dress size (from UK 22 to 20)but it's still a far cry from my ideal size 14.Lord please help me.

More updates coming soon..................

Please the last thing you want to do is stop. Just the other day I had mentioned to a colleague that I might have lost 0.5kg in 3 weeks, he scoffed and laughed, people easily lose 2kg in 1 week. Anyways my point is every one is different. My 0.5kg loose was huge for me, but maybe small for others.

Keep at it, and in no time you will reach your target. You just need that little more push/motivation. It is well.

And well done on you dress size drop. You may think its a far cry, but its Huge step in the right direction.

I've learnt that when you are faced with a huge door, what you need is a key. A key simplifies life. While you keep at what you are doing, try praying and asking God for specific direction.

Just last week i heard someone preaching about the fact that we are God's creation and He has the manual. If there is anything you want to adjust in your TV set for example, the simplest way to do it is consult the manual. So while you continue at what you are doing, why not also take time to ask Him on how to do it.

But meanwhile just remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

i kinda of understand wat ur are going thru.My boss asked me if i was pregnant a couple of weeks ago and i said no. She then said she didnt have a problem with me being pregnant and i didnt have to lie about it. I said no aagin cos i'm not pregnant. She then began her lecture on while i should be ashamed of carrying that stomach around. The health risk and the dangers of stomach fat. She has encouraged me to start a diet wch i have started. Its mainly fruits, veggies and protein. breakfast is 2 boiled eggs, lunch is efo riro (small portion cooked with little oil and loads of smoked fish) and dinner is cabbage soup. Friday is my treat day when i eat anything that i want in moderation. The truth is i'm always hunger now i started the diet. I stopped taking coke, juice and malt. All i drink now is water and green tea.I'm tired, angry and almost depressed but my MD is always asking questions and showing me exercise routine that can help. She even allows me keep my fruits in her fridge in the office. She is on a lifestyle diet also and cos i report directly to her I cant help but stick to the diet cos i see her everyday if only to get her off my back.i eat the fruits whenever i need a sugar boost. its hard especially when i have to cook for the family but my goal is to lose 10kg and get back to my old size 10.
like she said aside form feeling good and being more attractive to ur hubby when u get back in shape u know you are prolonging ur own life so do it for YOURSELF. its worth the scarifice.

Congratulations on your weightloss progress, but have you sought a second opinion, not about fibroids but your irregular visits from said lady, I find it hard to believe that your weight is the sole cause of the irregularity, are you under unusual amounts of stress, did you just start on the contraceptives?

One day at a time sha. There are many patients with a perfect figure who are terminally ill. Point is thank God for life and start walking. Increasing distances. Look at the Masai. They walk all day, drink blood (some kind of modified Aitkien's diet) and tend to stay slim. Determine in your heart that you are beautiful.

I'm calling for an update!

Congrats on dropping a dress size...a good idea is to focus on inches lost, rather than weight, because what you are really concerned with is shrinking your body, not what you weigh. Another thing for the weightloss is that it is often advised to set smaller "current goals" for yourself, while maintaining an "ultimate goal weight" at the back of your mind. This would allow you to get the feeling of having succeeded from time to time, and encourage you to keep going because of how good it feels to reach your goals. Hope this helps!

How To Succeed At Your Medical School Interview But before you enroll in this one on one session, make sure to check if you will be able to meet the schedule because if not, you better stick with online dental ce courses. For the most part, graduate nurses are rather young and range from being in their mid to late 20's to early 30's. Because the work is specialized and unique, a mason must be well trained, since they are always in high demand.
